Well, what can say! The Big Blue UK team is great! I don’t think I have ever enjoyed a basketball season like this one and just think, we have the playoffs yet to come. Stay tuned. Old Tulip is having a ball.

Now that I have gotten that off my chest, we can go on to the “other good stuff”. People back home, I will be back at my beloved lake in a few days. The Daughter is flying down to get me on Tuesday but she plans to stay a while and play in the ocean. I was told that you all have not had the most desirable winter season and believe me I have not either. It has been raining and cold here You can really pick out the “Yankees” in this crowd because they just keep right on going through the rain and cold weather and us Southern Belles just freeze to death and do not go outside.

Today the girls who play bridge, are getting together to have a picnic since we all will be leaving next week. Everyone will be sad because we will go our separate way and won’t see each other until next year.

I will tell you that I have three friends that are starting in Wisconsin, coming down through Illinois to pick up another girl and then to Chicago to gather up the third girl and they are coming to the lake in June. Also, there is one who is coming on her own from Cincinnati. So all of you that watch my driveway, I will have three lovely women who will be gracing my boat dock.

I have been very fortunate to have so many wonderful neighbors that have taken care of me and my house. You see I am going forward in the future. I can’t stress on you enough, the point that I say each week, that is “enjoy the moment” because it is all we have. We are not promised anything but the moment at hand.

So, to all you fishermen and women who fish, Old Tulip is getting her fishing pole out and on the 15th of March I will be getting my boat in the water. I will be ready for the best fishing season at my ever beautiful LAKE MALONE. Bye now!
