We are all familiar with the many insurance policies in our daily lives. Some insurance policies are required by law, such as car insurance. Most policies are required by common sense, like home, health, business, and life. We even have liability insurance to protect us from our negligence, others negligence, or just to cover us when someone wants to sue us over something frivolous to get free money. All insurance policies are governed by certain criteria that must be met to qualify, and how great a risk that person is to the insurer. A driver with a history of accidents or DUI arrests may find it difficult, if not impossible, to buy insurance. Likewise, a person with a terminal illness probably cannot buy a life insurance policy. The bottom line is, all insurance polices come with condpoliciesand restrictions.

The greatest insurance policy of all times, may be one that many are totally unaware of. It is a policy that assures our immortal soul for all eternity. This policy is offered by the grace of God, underwritten by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, to pay the price for the sins of the entire world (John 1:29-I John 2:2) It is available to every person living upon this earth, regardless of nationality, language, race, sex, or age.

Like all insurance policies, there are certain simple conditions to be met. First one must hear and know of this great plan (Rom. 10:14-John 6:45). When we have heard, we must believe that this plan exist, and Jesus is indeed who he says he is (John 8:24-Mark 16:16). Then we must repent of our sinful past life and turn from it (Acts 16:30,31-Luke 13:3). We must confess, with our mouth before men, that Jesus is truly the Son of the living God (Acts 8:37-Rom. 10:9-Luke 12:8). The next step in our application is to be immersed in water, known as baptism (Acts 8.38), which is commanded of God (Acts 10:48), authorized by Jesus Christ himself (Mark 16:16), for the forgiveness of our past sins, If we hear, know, believe, and do all these very simple commandments, God himself will put our names in the book of life and add us to the body of Christ, which is his church (Gal. 3:26,27- I Cor. 12:13), that he purchased with his own blood (Acts 20:28).

Keeping God's commandments and living daily for him, are the only premiums for this exceptional policy. They are not costly, will never increase, and the benefits will never decrease. This tremendous policy's benefits include a crown of life for all eternity in heaven, guaranteed by God, who cannot lie (Heb. 6:18), for those who faithfully fulfill his required commandments, for as long as

they may live (Matt.24:13-Rev.2:10).

This seems like the deal of a life time to me, especially when we consider the alternative of living totally unprepared for death, Perhaps we should all look into this extraordinary policy, before the Lord returns with his mighty angels taking vengeance on those who know not God and obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (II Thess. 1:8,9).

We invite all who would, to come together with us each Sunday morning at Kedron on the Coopertown Road, Russellville, Kentucky, to worship God in spirit and in truth. We neither add to God's Word or take from it. Bible study at 10:00 and Worship at 11:00. "Come now let us reason together, saith the Lord" (Isaiah 1:18)
