Thomas “Buck” Creek, of Fairdale, Ky., a Logan County native, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville.

He was born in Logan County, Ky. on Dec. 24, 1928, to the late Gilmore and Nannie Gertrude (Lee) Creek.

Buck worked on the assembly line with G.E. and was a member of the Brooks Baptist Church in Brooks, Ky.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Exie June Creek; a son, Phillip Creek, and a step-sister, Goldie Ward.

He is survived by his four sons, Thomas Daniel “Danny” Creek of Brooks, Ky., Richard Creek of Louisville, Ky., Roy Neal Creek of Fairdale, Ky. and David Creek of Bowling Green, Ky.; one sister, Kathurin Mees of Shepherdsville, Ky.; a sister, Pearl Richardson of Franklin, Ky.; a half-sister, Ruth Ann Watkins of Auburn; nine grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Thomas “Buck” Creek will be conducted Wednesday, March 13 at 1 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. Robert Futrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 13 from 10:30 a.m. and continue until funeral time at 1 p.m.

Pallbearers are Danny Creek, Richard Creek, Roy Creek, Bill Creek, Michael Mees and Tommy Long.
