Michael Thomas, age 57, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020.

He was born in Logan County, Ky. on March 5, 1962, to the late Raymond Cordell Thomas and Betty Jean (Coles) Moore.

Michael was a United States Army veteran, was a funeral director in Tennessee and a contractor.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Thomas and a niece, Kya Thomas.

Michael is survived by his mother, Betty Moore of Auburn; his wife, Lorie Thomas of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; two sons, Raymond Thomas of Auburn and Anthony Ott (Amber) of Superior, Colo.; two daughters, Sherrie Cropper of Auburn and Amanda Ott (Jillian) of Flint, Mich.; two brothers, Jeff Thomas (Sally) of Auburn and Jeremy Thomas (Cindy) of Bowling Green; a son-in-law, Brian Cropper of Auburn, and four grandchildren, Savanna Cropper, Branna Cropper, Kalie Cropper, and Caden Thomas.

A memorial service for Michael Thomas was conducted Sunday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. Calvin Bond officiating. Visitation began Sunday, Feb. 9 from 12 p.m. until service time at 4 p.m.
