Mary Ann Coles, age 80, of Woodburn, Ky., passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, at her home.

She was born in Springfield, Tenn. on March 24, 1939, to the late Ellise Ray “Sug” and Emma (Abney) Page.

Mary Ann formerly worked with Holley Carburetor and as a security guard at Emerson. She was a Methodist by faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, I. C. Coles and two brothers, John W. Page and Daniel Page.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Whittlesey of Woodburn, Ky.; two sons, Jeffery Bilbrey of San Francisco, Calif. and Mark Coles (Stacy) of Russellville, Ky.; a grandchild, Coty Coles of Russellville, Ky.; two step-sons, Shawn Whittlesey (Gina) of Bowling Green, Ky. and Brandon Whittlesey (Alicia) of Jasper, Ala.; a step-daughter, Tamara Bell of Huntsville, Ala.; seven step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren, and three very special friends, Matt Freeman, Cheryl Reding and Angel.

Funeral services for Mary Ann Coles were conducted Thursday, Aug. 29 at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel with Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Burial followed in the New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation began Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 5-8 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel and Thursday, Aug. 29 from 8 a.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m.
