Margaret Jean Nash Stuart, age 86, of Russellville, Ky., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.

She was a Logan County native born Jan. 29, 1933, to the late Elmer Nash and Ruth Williams Nash.

Mrs. Stuart was a bookkeeper for almost 50 years at various local businesses and retired from Johnson’s Ag Center. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, a loving mother, perfect Memaw and wonderful homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Curtis Ray Stuart; two sons, Mike Stuart and wife Betty Sue of Bowling Green, Ky. and Steve Stuart and wife Darlene of Russellville, Ky.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three nieces, and two nephews.

Funeral services for Margaret Jean Nash Stuart were conducted Thursday, Aug. 8 at 11 a.m. at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Barnes and Bro. Gene Bracken officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation began at the funeral home Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 8 from 8 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m.

Pallbearers are Jeff Stuart, Chad Young, Josh Stuart, Richard Hartsock, Billy Costellow, and Jimmy Stuart.
