Linda Sue Farmer, age 76, of Russellville, Ky., passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019, at her home.

She was a Logan County native born July 26, 1942, to the late Bennett Ewing Mantlo and Ruby Pearl Thomas Mantlo.

She worked as a private caregiver, was a member of New Union Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Kay Sharp.

She is survived by three daughters, Marcia Sue Vysa and Boyd of Russellville, Ky., Sherry Ann Higgins and Mitchell of Russellville, Ky. and Jennifer Lynn Terry and Denarrius of Russellville, Ky.; two brothers, Boyce Mantlo of Russellville, Ky and Butch Mantlo of Russellville, Ky.; one sister, Debbie Ann Shoulders of Russellville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Linda Sue Farmer will be conducted Tuesday, July 2 at 2 p.m. at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Blick officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at the funeral home Tuesday, July 2 from 11 a.m. until the service hour at 2 p.m.

Pallbearers are Ken Thomas, Terry Edwards, Scott Appling, Jordan Shoulders, Joey Shoulders, and Garrison Appling.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
