Linda Faye Anderson, age 76, of Owensboro, Ky., passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020, at her home.

She was born in Logan County, Ky., on April 13, 1943, to the late Richard and Mildred (Wilson) Sears.

She was a member of the Kedron Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, spending time with grandchildren, shopping, and doing arts and crafts.

She is preceded in death by four brothers, Buddy Sears, Roger Sears, Harold Sears, and James Sears.

Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Glenn Anderson; a son, Anthony Glenn Anderson (Kimberly) of Hartford, Ky.; two daughters, Sophia Lynn Anderson of Owensboro, Ky. and Crystal Rene Church of Ramsey, Ind.; three brothers, Frank Sears of Adairville, Alvin Sears of the Dot Community and Russell Sears of Auburn; five sisters, Sarah Parrish of Russellville, Ky., Mary Watkins of Carthage, Tenn., Lois Shoemake of Russellville, Ky., Gayle Morgan of Russellville, Ky. and Rhonda Dezarn of Russellville, Ky.; six grandchildren, Samantha Jackson, Tyler Houchens, Austin Church, Joseph Allen Gray, Kylie Church and Camden Anderson, and six great-grandchildren, Talan Houchens, Monroe Houchens, Audric Jackson, Aeralin Jackson, Teegan Houchens, and Penelope Church.

Funeral services for Linda Faye Anderson will be conducted Friday, March 13 at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Rev. Sammy Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday, March 12 from 5-8 p.m. and Friday, March 13 from 8 a.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m.

Pallbearers are Eric, Barton, Anthony Anderson, Tyler Houchens, Austin Church, Russell Sears, Thomas Jackson, and Quinton Calloway.
