Henry “Hank” Horlander, age 78, of Adairville, Ky., passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, at NHC Healthcare in Springfield, Tenn.

He was a Jeffersonville, Ind. native born March 22, 1940, to the late Earl Horlander and Viola Pearl Kendall Horlander.

He worked as a Sales Rep for Napa Auto Parts, was in the United States Army Reserves and was a member of the Adairville Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, former youth director along with various other committees. He was also active with the Adairville Sports.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Garland Orndorff Horlander; two daughters, Holly Horlander of Columbia, Ky. and Carrie Horlander or Bowling Green, Ky.; one sister, Judy King of Georgetown, Ind.; three nieces, Lisa Dailey, Gina Uland, and Robin Zimmerman all of Indiana; a special pup, Lucy, and two special friends, Debbie Grider and Stacey Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Horlander and Harold Flickner and niece, Mary Ann Berger.

Funeral services for Henry “Hank” Horlander will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 11 a.m. at the Adairville Baptist Church with Bro. Michael Edwards, Bro. Mark Bond and Bro. Randall Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation began Monday, Feb. 11 from 5-8 p.m. at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home and Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the Adairville Baptist Church beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until the time of the service of 11 a.m.

Pallbearers are Gaylor Orndorff, Monty Walker, Jim Starks, Harold West, Stephen Lawrence, and Jim Trimble.

Memorial donations may be made to Adairville Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the church.
