Glenn Elwood Wilson, age 77, of Auburn, Ky., passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

He was born in Clinton, Mo. on Dec. 7, 1941, to the late Earl Perkins and Imogene (Settle) Wilson.

Glenn served his country for nine years as a United States Marine during Vietnam and 16 years in the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of the Auburn Christian Church and a member of the Auburn American Legion.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy (Hodges) Wilson; his daughter, Jackie Key, and his brother, Gene Wilson.

He is survived by his three daughters, Connie Blick (Dorris) of Russellville, Ky., Marina Wilson of Russellville, Ky. and Peggy Ingram (Jason) of Belton, Ky.; his son-in-law, Ricky Key of Russellville, Ky.; one sister, Denise Smalling of North Little Rock, Ark.; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Glenn Wilson will be conducted Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel with Bro. Michael Duff officiating. Burial will follow in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at the funeral home Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 11 a.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m.

The family asks that donations be made to the Auburn American Legion. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
