Ed McIntosh, age 81, of Adairville, Ky., passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, at the Sky Line Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

He was born in Logan County, Ky. on May 19, 1939, to the late Harley Thomas and Kitty Lee (Baldwin) McIntosh.

Ed was a member of the Forrest Grove Baptist Church and a farmer in Logan County.

He is preceded in death by three brothers, Frank McIntosh, Knox McIntosh, and John Ray McIntosh, and two sisters, Dorothy Sawyer, and Rachel Hinton.

Ed is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marsha McIntosh; two sons, Eddie McIntosh (Teresa) and Tommy McIntosh (Sharon) both of Russellville; three daughters, Gale Scholl (Greg) of Somerset, Tina Blackford (Tracy) of Auburn, and Susan Fuzzell (Jack) of Russellville; three brothers, Russell McIntosh of Evansville, Ind., Joe McIntosh of Oklahoma, and Kent McIntosh (Anne) of New Mexico; a sister, Laurine Mantlo (Jonnie) of Russellville; 17 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Tyler Davenport, Blake McIntosh, Dylan Moore, Justin Long, Matt Holloway, Curtis Goodrum, Shawn Curtis, and Wilson Boggess.

The family chose to have a private funeral service and had a public graveside service, Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 3:30 p.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville with Bro. Donnie Blick officiating. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
