Dorothy “Dot” Duncan Gilliam, age 89, of Russellville, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky.

She was born in Russellville, Ky. to the late George and Elaine Nash Duncan on Feb. 17, 1931. She was a retired production worker from Rockwell Manufacturing after 40 years of service. She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church and was also an avid gardener.

She is survived by two sons, Tim Gilliam and Melanie of Cincinnati, Ohio and Mike Gilliam and Cari of Russellville, Ky.; one brother, James “Sonny” Duncan of Russellville, Ky.; two sisters, Liz Davis of Russellville, Ky. and Martha Carol Duncan of Russellville, Ky.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Dorothy “Dot” Gilliam were conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11 at Summers & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Arno Kranz and Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Burial followed at the Maple Grove Cemetery. A walk-through visitation began at the funeral home Saturday, Oct. 10 from 5-7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 11 from 8 a.m. until time of the service.

Pallbearers are Bryan Gilliam, Kyle Gilliam, Rick Matar, Jared Strader, Steve Strader, Ron Matar, and Lee Gilliam.
