Daniel Herman Canler, age 68, of Auburn, Ky., passed away Friday, July 17, 2020.

He was born in Logan County, Ky. on March 10, 1952, to the late Robert Herman and Ruby Beatrice (Swallows) Canler.

Daniel formerly worked with Auburn Roller Mills and retired from Auburn Leather Company after 38 years where he never missed a day or was late.

Danny is preceded in death by two brothers. Ray Canler and Thurston Canler; a sister, Paula Kay Haley, and a grandson, Shane Spurlock.

He is survived by his three daughters, Chrishina Hart (Michael) of Franklin, Jennifer Canler (Joseph Combs) of Bowling Green, and Brandy Canler of Bowling Green; three brothers, Hoppy Canler (Helen) of Russellville, Ronnie Canler (Paulette) of Auburn, and Kenny Canler (Kay) of Auburn; a sister, Linda Ann Powell of Auburn; a sister-in-law, Linda Kay Canler; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Daniel Canler will be conducted Monday, July 20 at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel with Bro. Kenny Canler, Bro. Andy Haley and Bro. Scott Canler officiating. Burial will follow in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation begin at the funeral home Monday, July 20 from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m.

Pallbearers are Robbie Powell, Chris Powell, Trace Cowles, Nicholas Cowles, Gage Harper, Ryan Powell, Caleb Haley, and Michael Hart.
