Charles “Charlie” Thomas Eaton, age 74, of Adairville, Ky., passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2020, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tenn.

He was born in Macon, Ga. on June 2, 1946, to the late Aubrey A. Eaton and Ona Mae Royal Eaton.

He retired from Logan Aluminum as a maintenance team leader and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, a Georgia Bulldog fan, and loved collecting Case knives.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda E. Eaton; his sons, Jim Eaton and wife Leah, Thomas Eaton of Nolensville, Tenn., and Joey Eaton and wife Melanie Foster Eaton of Adairville, Ky.; his sisters, Mary Ellen Wadzinski of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Elaine Lewis and husband Thomas of Bowling Green, Ky., and three grandchildren, Jonathan Thomas Eaton, Vincent Thomas Eaton and Laura James Eaton.

Memorial services for Charles “Charlie” Eaton will be conducted Friday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. at Summers & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Freudenthal officiating. There will be a walk-through visitation Friday, Oct. 16 from 4 p.m. until the service time of 6 p.m.

The family would appreciate if friends would prepare and bring a written memory of Charlie to be placed in the memory box at the funeral home.
