Russellville won the opening round of the playoffs on Friday after defeating Fulton County 32-27. Lennon Ries ran for 166 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.

Rhea Stadium was the site of the first round of the playoffs for the Panthers on Friday. Fulton County came to town for the second time this season. The Panthers would get another win, 32-27.

Lennon Ries was only able to pass for 41 yards in the win but piled up 166 yards on the ground with two touchdowns. Jovari Gamble ran for 76 yards.

Jackson Hampton caught a touchdown pass for 11 yards. Xavier Coleman was the leading receiver with 28 yards.

The Panthers got a score from the defense when Zach Dowlen recovered a fumble and ran it in for 57 yards.

The Panthers will travel to Crittenden County on Friday for the next round of the playoffs. Russellville fell 21-14 in a close game against them during the last meeting on October 25th.
