Brea Croslin hit two home runs on Saturday against Christian County.

The Lady Cougars played two games on Saturday against two really good teams. The first game was against South Warren. The Lady Spartans (14-8) made it all the way to the 4th Region championship game last season. On Saturday, Logan County got the win 6-2.

Abby Canler hit a home run in the win. Brea Croslin, Abby Hinton, and Sydney Lee each hit doubles. Shelby Gettings pitched the complete game for the win.

In the second game, the Lady Cougars squared up against the powerful Lady Colonels of Christian County. Last season, Christian County won the 2nd Region title and played four games in the state tournament. They only had two losses on the season coming into this game against Logan County.

The Lady Cougars jumped out early and held a 4-0 lead going into the third inning. Sydney Lee homered in the first inning, making it 2-0 early. Brea Croslin added two more runs in the second inning after planting a deep drive over the centerfield fence.

Christian County came roaring back in the third. By the time the Lady Cougars stepped to the plate again in the bottom of the third inning, the score was 5-4 in favor of the visiting Lady Colonels. Logan regained the lead, 6-5 after three.

Christian County put up a three-spot in the top of the fourth to go up 8-6. KJ Page hit a double in the bottom of the 4th to set up an RBI single from Sydney Lee. The Lady Cougars would add one more to tie the score at 8-8 going into the fifth.

Christian County would add nine more runs in the last two innings to close it out. The final was 17-9 in favor of the visitors.

Brea Croslin hit two home runs in the game. Sydney Lee hit a 2-run shot in the first. Lillie Newman and KJ Page each clubbed doubles.

Sydney Lee, Abby Hinton, and Shelby Gettings pitched in the game.

Logan County will host Russellville tonight.
