Dylan Penick had three hits and four RBIs on Tuesday against Todd County. The Cougars won 13-1.

Logan County improved to (17-4) on Tuesday after a 13-1 win over Todd County in Elkton. The Cougars are now (4-0) in the 13th District.

Logan put up three runs in the first inning on Tuesday. The runs came on singles by Dylan Penick and Chandler Silvey. The Rebels answered back with a run in the bottom half of the inning, making the score 3-1.

The second inning was quiet for both teams. The Cougars blew the game open in the third. Koby Wall singled to start the inning. Third Bell followed up with a single as well. Dylan Penick stepped to the plate and doubled in two more runs, making it 5-1. Chandler Silvey then powered a ball over the right-center field fence for a two-run home run. By the end of the third inning, it was 9-1 in favor of Logan County.

The Cougars added four more in the fifth to close out the game. The final was 13-1.

Koby Wall went four innings on the mound, allowing one run on one hit. Wall had five strikeouts. Blake Wood got one strikeout in one inning of work.

The Cougars will host Barren County (7-11) on Saturday at Logan County High School.
