Logan County celebrated Senior Night on Friday. The Senior quarterback, Tyler Ezell, threw six touchdowns to set a new single-game record for the Cougars. Rooster Woodard caught five of those touchdown throws, which also sets a single-game record for the school.

The Cougars got started early in the high-scoring victory against Calloway County. Tyler Ezell found Rooster Woodard for a 47-yard touchdown on the third play on offense. That touchdown would be the first of five to the Junior receiver.

Logan County scored 27 points in the first quarter. At halftime, it was 33-7 in favor of Logan County.

The final score was 46-7 on Senior Night.

Tyler Ezell finished with 193 yards passing with the six touchdowns. Ezell has 33 touchdown passes on the season, which ties the school record. He also eclipsed the 2000 yards passing mark for the season.

Rooster Woodard caught six passes for 152 yards. Five out of those six catches were for a touchdown. Gary Hardy had a big game on the ground with 151 yards rushing.

Braxton Baptiste caught two interceptions for 99 yards and a score.

Logan County had 507 total yards of offense compared to the 145 yards put up by Calloway County. The Cougars were also 4-for-4 on 4th down conversion attempts.

Logan County (8-1) will close out the regular season at South Warren (8-1) this Friday night.
