The Cougars got an overtime win against Metcalfe County last week to open up the 4th Region tournament at WKU. That set up a meeting with the Warren Central Dragons on Friday night.

Warren Central defeated Logan County 93-77 at Diddle Arena and went on to beat Bowling Green for the 4th Region crown.

Warren Central had control of the game from early on. The Dragons scored 26 points in the first period and held Logan to only 17. By the half, it was Central up 43-29.

During the third, Logan County tried to rally back, coming within ten points. Warren Central would hold on for the win, 93-77.

Kelby Epley finished with 22 points for the Cougars. Rooster Woodard had 16. Dalton Thompson scored 13, and Third Bell hit for ten points in the loss.

The Cougars finish at (25-7) for the season.
