Logan County Senior Jose Nazario battles a Daviess County player for a loose ball on Friday night. The Cougars won the game 68-38 and went on to win the tournament.

The Cougars of Logan County hosted the Roys Bar-B-Que / 1st Southern National Bank Classic last weekend. The home team went undefeated and claimed the tournament championship.

The Cougars opened the tournament with a 68-38 victory over Daviess County on Friday night. On Saturday, Logan County beat Clinton County by a score of 66-54.

The championship game was played on Sunday between Logan County and the Great Crossing Warhawks. The Cougars held on to win 80-74.

The Lady Cougars were on the road for the Berea Holiday Classic over the weekend. Logan went (1-2) during the tournament. The win came over Perry County Central by a score of 74-58.

Abby Hinton led the team in scoring during the win over Perry County. Hinton scored 22 while piling up 39 points in the 3-game tournament.

Also putting up double digits in the victory were Addie White (16,) Paige Vanzant (13,) and Peyton Vanzant (12.)

The Cougars (9-3) and Lady Cougars (5-6) hosted Todd County in a district doubleheader.
