The Cougars lost a seven-game winning streak on Monday of this week. Logan County fell to Hopkinsville, 14-11. On Tuesday, Franklin-Simpson came to town with a plan to avenge the April 16th loss in Franklin. The Cougars were 5-0 in the district. Franklin was 4-1.

After a seven-inning pitcher's duel, the Wildcats walked away with a 1-0 victory.

The game's lone run came after Franklin hit two singles in the top of the third.

Braxton Meguiar had the only hit for the Cougars.

Koby Wall was the starting pitcher for Logan. Wall recorded 12 strikeouts while allowing one run on three hits. Parker White threw the final inning, striking out two and giving up one hit.

The Cougars (21-6) travel to Barren County tonight.
