Wayne G. Watkins

Wayne G. Watkins, 60, of Cemetery Road, Auburn, was indicted by a Logan County Grand Jury March 29, 2019, for sexual abuse, first-degree victim under 12-years of age.

According to the grand jury, on Jan. 1, 2013, through Dec. 30, 2014, Watkins against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, knowing and unlawfully committed the offense of sexual abuse when he had sexual contact with a juvenile.

Watkins was issued a $30,000 cash bond. He is scheduled for arraignment April 18.

Walter M. Hester, 37, of Friendship Road, Auburn, was indicted by a Logan County Grand Jury March 29, 2019, for sexual abuse, first-degree victim under 12-years of age.

According to the grand jury, on Jan. 31, 2019, Hester against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, knowing and unlawfully committed the offense of sexual abuse when he had sexual contact with a juvenile.

Hester was issued a $30,000 cash bond. He is scheduled for arraignment April 18.

Bowling Green, was indicted by a Logan County Grand Jury March 29, 2019, for sexual abuse, first-degree victim under 12-years of age.

According to the grand jury, on Jan. 31, 2008, through Dec. 31, 2015, Reeves against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, knowing and unlawfully committed the offense of sexual abuse when he had sexual contact with a juvenile.

Reeves was issued a $30,000 cash bond. He is scheduled for arraignment April 18. He has yet to be booked into the Logan County Detention Center.

The function of the Grand Jury is to determine whether there is sufficient competent evidence to believe that a crime has been committed by a specific individual. This does not mean those individuals are guilty of a crime. The innocence or guilt is finally determined by a petit jury at trial.

Names and charges are supplied by the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney to the news media after the Grand Jury returns the indictment in open court to the Circuit Judge; they are of public record at the Circuit Court Clerk's Office.
