On Nov. 20 agents with the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force received information that Brooks Camp, 38, of Auburn was in the area of Pace Street in Allensville. Camp is a wanted fugitive with six active felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant. Agents along with a Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to locate Brooks, but were unable to locate him.

Agents later located Camp operating a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe in the Adairville area on Schley Road. Agents were able to keep a visual on the vehicle from a long distance, eventually making contact with it at 22 Pace Street. Camp was located in the driver seat and James Carter, 34, of Allensville was located in the passenger seat.

Camp advised agents that there was Heroin inside of the vehicle.

Brooks was found to be in possession of four separate bags containing a brown powdery substance that field-tested for Fentanyl and Heroin. Carter was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Department transported Camp to the Logan County Detention Center where he was served all seven active warrants of arrest. A SCKDTF agent will present new charges of trafficking in a controlled substance first degree (Heroin), possession of a controlled substance first degree (Heroin), and possession of drug paraphernalia to the next meeting of the Todd County Grand Jury.

Carter was charged on the scene by a SCKDTF agent for possession of a controlled substance firsts degree (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance third degree (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia, and prescription of a controlled substance not in a proper container. Todd County Sheriff’s Department transported Carter to the Todd County Detention Center.
