Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the parks throughout Logan County were closed for several weeks to help slow the spread of the virus. With Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s phases of reopening, those parks have now been reopened and are receiving the public.

The City of Adairville’s park has been open for almost a month now according to city hall. There are no restrictions, however, the city is asking everyone who goes to the park to adhere to six-feet social distancing.

As of Friday, June 26, the City of Auburn opened its park which includes all fields and facilities.

“Everyone is expected to follow the governor’s guidelines on social distancing and any other COVID-19 emergency orders,” said Mayor Mike Hughes.

The City of Russellville reopened the Russellville-Logan County Memorial Park on Monday, June 29, however, the playground equipment is still closed.

The park in the City of Lewisburg is currently reopened to the public as well. There are no stipulations other than social distancing until otherwise informed.
