Brandon and Lauren Robey were recently recognized as the 2020 Logan County Farm Bureau’s Young Farm Family of the Year for Outstanding Work in Production Agriculture.

The name of the couple’s farming operation is “Double R Farms” which is located in South Logan County near Adairville and in Robertson County, Tenn.

The Robey’s began farming in 2012 with the opportunity given by Kenneth and Sandra Bracy and are presently farming around 5,200 acres of corn, wheat, and soybeans.

The award was presented to Brandon and Lauren Robey by Logan County Farm Bureau President, Doug Milliken and immediate past president, Jay Campbell.

In addition to a plaque, the Robey’s were presented gifts from Hutson Ag, Southern States, TSC, and Logan County Farm Bureau.

The couple’s son, Finn was with them as they were beginning this year’s corn harvest in South Logan County.
