Misty Harrison

On Monday, Sept. 3 at approximately 3 p.m., the Logan County Sheriff's Department received a call of a possible disturbance at the Adairville Dollar General Store.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with 33-year-old Misty Harrison, of Adairville. Harrison had red bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and was unsteady on her feet. She was also very belligerent. It was apparent Harrison was under the influence of intoxicants.

Deputies searched Harrison's purse which yielded a syringe with an unknown liquid and what appeared to be blood, as well as two orange pills imprinted "P2", later identified as Dilaudid, a schedule 2 prescription narcotic.

Harrison refused to talk to deputies about the items located in her purse but admitted that she used Suboxone on the day of her arrest.

Harrison was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Detention Center on charges of public intoxication (excludes alcohol), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance first degree (drug unspecified), and prescription controlled substance not in original container.
