The Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force and the United States Postal Inspection Service with assistance from Kentucky State Police K-9 and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) have arrested 19-year-old Jacob Ross Embry of Bowling Green for numerous illegal drug violations.

The arrest occurred at 1:45 p.m. on July 3 following a brief investigation and surveillance by DTF Detectives and US Postal Inspection Service of marijuana and LSD trafficking activities by the accused.

Seized following the arrest and execution of the search warrant was four pounds of marijuana, 20 hits of LSD, Psilocybin Mushrooms and $1,973 in cash. In addition to the aforementioned four pounds of marijuana seized at the accused residence an additional four pounds of marijuana was also seized which is related to this investigation. The street value of the high-grade marijuana seized was $38,000.

Embry was arrested at his residence without incident following the execution of a search warrant. He was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail and is being charged with trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, Class D Felony; trafficking in marijuana eight ounces to five pounds, Class D Felony; trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree (LSD) Class C Felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

This investigation will be presented to the Warren County Grand Jury at a later date.
