A Lewisburg man accused of molesting four children over a four year period is scheduled for trial in a Logan County Circuit Court May 21, 2019.

Michael R. Hardin, 33, of Stacker Street, was indicted in March 2018 for allegedly molesting four children over a four year period between 2012 and 2016.

He is being tried on charges that include first-degree sodomy, incest (serious physical injury), first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree rape, and unlawful transaction w/minor. Three of the victims were under 12 years of age.

According to the Commonwealth, Hardin knowingly and unlawfully committed the offense of first-degree sexual abuse when he continued a course of conduct subjecting another person less than 12-years old to sexual contact when he rubbed a six-year old's private area.

According to the Commonwealth, Hardin knowingly and unlawfully committed the offense of first-degree sexual abuse when he continued a course of conduct subjecting another person less than 12-years old to sexual contact when he rubbed a nine-year old's private area for sexual gratification.

According to the Commonwealth, Hardin knowingly and unlawfully committed the offense of first-degree sexual abuse when he continued a course of conduct subjecting another person less than 12-years old to sexual contact when he rubbed an eight-year old's private area for sexual gratification.

According to the Commonwealth, Hardin knowingly and unlawfully committed the offense of first-degree sexual abuse when he continued a course of conduct subjecting another person less than 16-years old to sexual contact when he inserted his fingers inside a 14-year-old's private area for sexual gratification.

Special prosecutor Ralph Vick out of Muhlenberg County is handling the case.
