The Logan County Beautification Awards Committee has been revived to recognize property owners in Logan County that have worked hard to improve the look of their home, business and/or entrances, overall improving our county's curb appeal.

"The mission of the Logan County Beautification Committee is to enhance the visual beauty of Logan County, preserve its historical values, and to promote our community for the common good of our residents and businesses," said Chamber Director Karen Logan.

Nominations will be accepted in residential and commercial, and entrance signs (subdivisions, businesses & towns)

Nominations will be accepted from the property owner, from the public, or from the Logan County Beautification Committee for improvements done in the last 12 months to a storefront or home, curb appeal, or other noticeable improvements to the structure and property. Lawn work alone does not qualify for this award.

Winners will be selected by the Nominating Committee as submissions demand. There will be no less than four awards per year selected (once per quarter).

Winners will receive a media news release with story and photo, a sign will be placed in the winner's yard for one month, the accolade will be posted on the Logan County Beautification Award Facebook page and shared on both the Logan County Chamber's Facebook as well as the News-Democrat & Leader Facebook. A winner's certificate will be presented to the property owner and a story with a photo will be added to the Chamber's website.

The sign will be relinquished at the end of 30 days, for the committee to use for subsequent winners.
