On March 8, agents with the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force presented 14 cases to the Logan County Grand Jury on 14 individuals for various types of felony drug offenses. All 14 cases were true billed with seven individuals receiving indictment warrants, and seven individuals receiving a criminal summons for previously being arrested on their charges.

Jonathan Taylor, 33, of 323 East 1st Street, Russellville has two separate indictment warrants for trafficking in a controlled substance first degree, second or greater offense (cocaine), possession of a controlled substance first degree (cocaine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Calvin Merrell, 54, has two separate indictment warrant for trafficking in a controlled substance first degree, first offense (cocaine), and possession of a controlled substance first degree (cocaine).

Antonio Browder, 40, of 110 Glendale Lane, Russellville has one indictment warrant for trafficking in a controlled substance first degree, first offense (cocaine), possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and lodged at Logan County Detention Center.

Steven Ballard, 26, has one indictment warrant for possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and persistent felony offender 1. He was arrested and lodged at Logan County Detention Center.

Billy Lee, 47, of 810 Lewisburg Road, Russellville has one indictment warrant for possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia, and persistent felony offender 2. He was arrested and lodged at Logan County Detention Center.

John Bixby, 26, of 65 Tamara Road, Adairville has one indictment warrant for trafficking in a controlled substance first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance first degree, second offense (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and lodged at Logan County Detention Center.

Kenneth Embry, 32, of 1458 Thompson Chapel School Road, Russellville has one indictment warrant for trafficking in a controlled substance first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance first degree, second offense (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription controlled substance not in proper container, and persistent felony offender 2. He was arrested and lodged at Logan County Detention Center.

On March 14 the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, Logan County Sheriff’s Department, and Russellville Police Department attempted to serve an indictment warrant on Jonathan Taylor, 33, at his residence of 323 East 1st Street, Russellville. While attempting to serve the warrant, marijuana was located in plain view which then led agents to discover approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine.

Taylor, who was not located, has two outstanding indictment warrants along with new pending felony charges.

Law enforcement also attempted to locate Calvin Merrell, 54, for two separate indictment warrants but was unable to locate him.
