Mary Kathern Frye, 69, of Adairville, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, in the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born in Marble Hill, Ga. on Sept. 30, 1943, a son of Hazel Blackwell Quarles of Silver Springs, Fla. and the late Ralph Ingal Quarles.

Mrs. Frye attended Adairville Baptist Church, catered for the Ocala Shrine Club for several years and was a volunteer for the Morning Star Lodge #94 of Connor, Fla.

There will be a private memorial service held by the family at a later date. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel will be in charge of arrangements.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Frye is survived by her husband, Huey C. Frye, Sr. of Adairville; her sons, Huey C. Frye, Jr. and Mary Ann of Evans, Ga., Allen Connard Frye of Adairville and Terry Lynn Frye and Cecilia of Memphis, Tenn.; her daughter, Angela Gayle Angel and Winston of Adairville; her brother, Charles Ingal Quarles of Clearwater, Fla.; her sister, Dorothy Faye Baker of St. Petersburg, Fla.; her grandchildren, Kerry Frye Abbott, Ethan Frye, Brian Eugene Dorris, Amanda Gayle Dorris, Shanah Dawn Frye, Emily Gail Frye and Elijah Daniel Frye, and her great-grandchildren, Dylan Louis Lee, Chloe Grayce Walker and Hunter Anthony Dorris.
