Joe Anderson, 93, of Quality, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville.

He was born Sept. 25, 1919, a son of the late Christopher Clellan Anderson and the late Eula Jane Givens. In addition to his parents, Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, Clarcie Cook Anderson; three brothers; two sisters; four brother-in-laws; three sister-in-laws, and two great-grandchildren, Kayla Chute and Robert Bray IV.

Mr. Anderson was the owner and operator of Anderson Grocery Store. He was also a school bus driver and substitute mail carrier. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Quality Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. at Price Funeral Home with the Reverend Pete Phelps officiating. Burial followed in the Anderson Cemetery. Visitation began at the funeral home Sunday, Jan. 27 after 5 p.m.

He is survived by his daughter, Jolene Gaston of Lewisburg; his sons, Lannie Anderson of Lewisburg and Randall Anderson of Rochester; his sisters, Naomi Kirby of Evansville, Ind. and Lois Harris of Tinley Park, Ill.; seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
