Marvle Lee Lawson, 76, of Stuart Avenue, Russellville, died, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.

He was a Logan County native, born September 14, 1936, to the late James Green Lawson and Floretta Smith Lawson. He worked in maintenance for General Motors and was of the baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melinda Springsteen, twin brother, Arville Lawson and sister, Joyce Hardin.

Funeral services for Marvle Lee Lawson will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013, from 1 p.m. till the time of the service.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Lawson; son, Marvle Lyle Lawson of Dunmor; daughter, Mylie LaPack of Russellville; brother, James Lawson of Lewisburg; sisters, Bertha Kirkman, Sue Carolyn Daugherty and Lennie Whittinghill, all of Russellville; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
