Boyd Gene Young, 74, of Russellville, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Logan County Nov. 6, 1938, a son of the late Clinton Young and Ethel Williams Young. In addition to his parents, Mr. Young was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Young, Jerry Young and Joe Young; his sister, Betty Smith; his granddaughter, Michelle Young, and his great-great-grandson, Davin Boyd Young.

Mr. Young worked as a supervisor at Built Rite Industries. Survived by:

There will be a graveside service held Friday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery with Brother Robert Futrell officiating. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his sons, Randall Young and Bryan Young both of Russellville and Boyd Young Jr. of Denis; his daughter, Lisa Rigsby of Russellville; his sisters, Lou Nell Harris of Russellville and Jackie Canler of Auburn; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
