Charles William “Bill” Etheridge, 78, of Adairville, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

He was born in Logan Coounty, a son of the late Oscar Sr. and Elizabeth Hunton Etheridge.

Mr. Etheridge retired from Bilt Rite after 19 years, he was a farmer and a member of the Spring Valley Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 23 at 1 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother Bill Cowan and Brother Tom Moody officiating. Burial followed in the Russellville Memorial Gardens. Visitation began Sunday, July 22 from 5-8 p.m. and Monday, July 23 from 8 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Bobby Etheridge, Glenn Allen, Jim Henderson, Anthony Waller, Jason Waller, John Hinton and Chris Hinton.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Epley Etheridge; his son, Billy Etheridge and wife Donna of Russellville; his daughters, Linda Henderson and husband Jim of South Union and Debbie Davis of Russellville; his brothers, Oscar “Buck” Etheridge and Dale Etheridge, both of Russellville; his sister, Marie Allen of Russellville; seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
