Shirley A. Collins, 74, of the Fairview Community, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at her home.

She was born in Todd County Oct. 31, 1937, a daughter of the late Wesley and Hazel Stokes Russell.

Mrs. Collins was a retired accountant from Cayce Mill Supply, a member of the Second Baptist Church in Hopkinsville and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

A memorial service was held Thursday, July 19 at 7 p.m. in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Wilhite officiating. Visitation began Thursday, July 19 at 5 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Tom Collins of Fairview and her daughter , Lynn Collins of Fairview, and her half-brothers, Roger Powell of Alabama and Dan Powell and Mike Powell, both of Elkton.
