Gertrude A. Gennrich, 94, of Auburn, formerly of Indiana, died at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green on Friday, July 06, 2012. She was born April 25, 1918 in Germany.

She worked as a cook at The Fireside Steakhouse in Indianapolis for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter Gennrich and a son, Karl Gennrich.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood, Ind. Friends may call from noon until time of the service Tuesday.

She is survived by her son, Gerhard Gennrich (Jeanne) of Indianapolis; daughter, Renate Collins of Auburn and grandchildren, Laura, Dawn, Nicole, Pam Angie, Kristi and Karl David.

Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home were in charge of the local arrangements.
