Hattie Beatrice Hayden, 79, of Russellville, died May 17, 2012, at Creekwood Nursing Home.

She was born May 14, 1933, a daughter of the late Vernon Woods and the late Harriet Woods.

Ms. Hayden was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church, was in the senior choir and sang with the Christian Circle Singers. She was a door greeter at Wal-Mart.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22 at 1 p.m. at the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, Tenn. with Reverend Lindsay Edmonds officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation began Tuesday, May 22 from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at the church. Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by her sons, James Hayden and wife Brenda of Belleville, Ill. and Carl Hayden and wife Wyetta of Dayton, Ohio; her daughters, Patricia Hayden of Russellville; her borthers, George Woods and wife Denise of Lebanon, Tenn. and Charles Woods and wife Otha-Dean of Russellville; her brother-in-law, James Taylor of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
