She was born in Logan County Oct. 15, 1946, a daughter of the late John Henry McFarland and the late Emma Lee White McFarland. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Caroll was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Carroll; her son, Edward Dee Brown Jr. and her daughter, Mary Ann Brown.
Mrs. Carroll was a nurse aid and a Baptist by faith.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 10 at Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel with Tony Chaudoin officiating. Burial followed in the Auburn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were, David Hutcheson, Mike Baker, Michael Smith, Charles Ray Hewgley, Aaron Manning and Chris Turner.
She is survived by her son, Terry Lee Brown Sr. and wife Diana of Auburn; her sisters, Mary Elsie Smith and husband Bud and Shirley Brawley, all of Auburn and Rosie Lee Reece of Bowling Green; her grandchildren, Mary Brown, Terry Brown Jr., Brandon Brown, Johnathan Dawes, Daniel Brown, Christa Gale Brown, Issac Mickle and Bryan McMullin; two great-grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews; 11 great-nieces and nephews, and her long-time companion, Billy Ray Miller of Bowling Green.
