She was born in Todd County May 26, 1921, a daughter of the late Henry Ollie Cowherd and the late Jennie Wells Cowherd. In addition to her parents, Mr. Utley was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Utley in 1994; her son, Jimmy Odell Utley in 1995, and her daughter, Jennie Gail Utley in 1947.
Mrs. Utley was retired from Owens Glass Company in Alton, Ill. and was a member of the Pea Ridge House of Prayer.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 18 at Latham Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Wilhite officiating. Burial followed in the Glenwood Cemetery.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
