The Truthseekers Sunday school class met Monday at KFC and ate out. Those of us that went were Hester Martin, myself, Ada Dorris, Wanda Coursey and 2 visitors, Virginia Hart and Marlene Martin of California. We had a good time.
On Saturday Sue and James Fuller enjoyed birthday parties for 2 grandchildren. They were Shawn, who was 12 on the 8th and Olivia, she was 13 on the 6th. This was at their parent’s home Jeff and Corrie Fuller and the other kids.

Well how about T. Green holding Dick Dickerson’s hand? Wow, wonder if she told him her name? Shucks, keeping your name a secret is no fun. I want everyone to know who I am. God made me and I am a blessed creature.
Lillian Johnson had surgery this week and is now back home.
Sue Fuller had a birthday (the 13th) this week. Remember they always do (whatever on the 13th). One of the boys messed up, he didn’t do the 13th, he did 31. He son Jeff took her out for lunch at Solazteca. She really enjoyed it, she said.
Oh and Danny Coursey added another candle to his cake on the 14th. Hope he had a very good day.
I’ve had lots of company this week on Sunday afternoon. Those were Sue and James Fuller who brought a watermelon and peaches, Glenn and Helen Porter who brought peas and Mitchell and Heather Johnson and Jenny. Then Monday morning there was Lula Johns and Betty Etheridge. She brought a typewriter. Then Kathryn Stuart of Russellville came and we had her a couple days late birthday lunch. We tried our tired minds to see if we could remember how many years we’ve been doing this.
We did remember the last day James had a special day. We ate together, ahhh, memories aren’t they great? And Brenda Coursey with squash. Then on Wednesday Dr. Lynwood Montell and granddaughter Hannah from Bowling Green was down, so we rode around while and ate lunch at the Ranger Grill, good eating too.
I got to attend a sing last Sunday at New Harmony Baptist Church on 181 by the Snead Family, which will sing at Elk Lick for homecoming service on July 28th. They are a good group.
Best wished to Beverly and Nelson Harris as they celebrated their 50th anniversary Saturday at Elk Lick.
Visiting this past Monday morning with Margie Latham were her niece Betty Etheridge and Lula Johns. They had a good visit.
Martine Brown and her friend Doris visited her sis-in-law Lucille Whitson at Hearthstone Place in Elkton. She seemed to be doing pretty good.
Until next time, and have a good week, do a good deed, and you will be glad you did.
