In an article last week several names were left out so let’s redo that one. Meeting at the home of Lynn and Wayne Joines were Gery Joines of Greenville, Margie Latham of Dunmor, Sheila and Gerald Heltsley, Rickie and Jeanette Latham, Mrs. Fannie Porter of Ohio, And her two sons Kevin and Keith Porter of California.
Monday my Sunday school class met at KFC and ate our lunch, there were six of us, Wanda Coursey, Virginia Hart, Ada Dorris, Hester Martin, Lois Ann Cornelius and Hazel. We had a good time visiting together as well as eating.
One note of interest our June picnic this year will be on June 5th and we will meet at the Ranger Grill, so mark your calendar so you don’t forget.
I think cousin Marshall Johnson of St. Louis was transferred from the hospital to a nursing facility where he can begin therapy.
Sorry to hear by way of WRUS where Miss Willis Shares had had some more medical problems. Seems he is doing better so keep it up. He was able to be back on the radio with his great gospel music. That music really speaks to your heart and I appreciate him willing to do this and for Don letting him. Do it again real soon okay?
Heard at church this morning that Jewel Wayne Johnson has been in the Medical Center in Bowling Green since Wednesday. Hope he is soon feeling better and able to be back home and into his usual activities.
Sorry that early this Mother’s Day morning that Marilyn Morris wife of Bro. Kinnith Morris of Hopkinsville entered into a new life as she entered her eternal final resting home. Marilyn has been very sick for sometime now and is with her Savior. She is the sister in law of Martine Brown. At this time no arrangements have been made. Our sympathy to Kinnith and the family. May God especially bless at this time.
We have had several visitors at church this morning and I know I did not see very many so if I miss you and yours sorry. They were Lance Gregory and his family with his mom Vicki Gregory, Michael Chapman and his family with his mom Joyce Chapman, Kathy Basham and family with her mom Joyce Chapman now who all did I miss? The oldest mom being Virginia Hart, hope all had a happy Mother’s Day.
I did not get the girls name, but the one this morning gave special recognition to Martha Wright, as Martha had played a major role in her much younger days. She really made a special talk and I know Martha really appreciated her comments.
Those in this week has been Lannie Jernigan, Stacy Jernigan, Marvine Border,s Judy Jernigan, Steve Timberlake and Charles Brooks.
Glenn and Helen Porter visited a while one afternoon with her aunt Naomi Harper in Creekwood she is not feeling very well at this time.
Visiting Thursday with James and Sue Fuller were son Tony and Marshe Fuller and then on Saturday were grandson Bryan and Jessica Fuller.
