Hopefully you and yours had a good day at Easter with family or whatever you did. Stanley took me with Elaine and Tara and we enjoyed the day. After church with Elaine’s mom Louise Carver and the siblings Kim Siegers and girls Kathy Brigance and family Phylis Ford and family and brother David Browning and family. I never counted us, but I guess probably 40. We had a good visit and lots of good eats.

I got to go to church this past Sunday and the new twins Paul Thomas and Mary Kate were there with their parents Mitch and Dana Cundiff, so got to see them and got to hold Mary Kate. They sure were sweet.

Joe and Ada Dorris have returned home from Texas after visiting their son Steve and Kim Dorris ans family and his sister Margie Thompson and her husband.

Visiting Sunday with Lannie and Judy Jernigan were David and Stacey Jernigan and girls, Kim and Johnny Richarson and Grace and several of the family from Greenville. Judy said she didn’t do a head count either, but she would guess at least 35 and David brought my supper and it was good, thanks.

Martine Brown enjoyed the night meal Saturday with daughter Rozena and Pat Stanley and Jay and the grandchildren Shawn and Shane of Tennessee. The boys returned to their home in Tennessee, but they had enjoyed the week with them.

Visitors of Virginia Hart have been Keith and Karen Taylor and then on Sunday she visited Jerry and Barbara hart and grandson Jay and Tara hart. They had a good visit.

Congrats to Ole Mack Mallory, he had two big events in his life this past week, he celebrated 30 years with WRUS on the 1st and on the 4th added another candle to his cake. I consider Mack a special friend, best wishes as he celebrates many more days.

Martine Brown and daughter Rozena Stanley were in Hopkinsville on Tuesday to see her brothers Bro. Kinnith and Marilyn Morris. He is seemingly doing very well as he sees after his very sick wife Marilyn, who is not at all well, however, he is seeing after her at home. He would ask that you remember them in prayer in these trying times.

Tuesday was a most enjoyable day here. Arriving first was cousin Sherry Harris of Louisville and were we glad to see her. She was out of school this week, as they were here too. Cousin Lasley Johnson brought barbecue, Sue Fuller brought cake, baked sweet potatoes and baked Irish potatoes, Bless her heart, she is still having problems with her back. Louse Henderson brought limas, vegetables, salad and cornbread. I fixed pinto beans, corn and stir-fry. We really enjoyed our time together, as well as all our eats. We just do not have a chance to get together very often. And M.T. Henderson brought his mom, but he couldn’t stay and eat with us. We all had a good time and Sherry stayed with us 2 nights before going home on Thursday.

Curtis Coursey brought me some garden onions and Kenneth Williams brought me some turnips and I have enjoyed both items. Thank you very much.

I know I mentioned about the twins in last week’s items, but I was so excited that I got to hold Mary Kate. I just had to mention it again. This morning at church, Evelyn Skipworth got to hold Paul Thomas while his dad Mitch Cundiff was in the choir and mom Dana was holding Mary Kate. They are precious.

Sorry Alan Smith has had problems this past week and was in Nashville with a heart attack I understand. He had to have a stint inserted. Heard at church he was supposed to come home today.

Found out that Steve Timberlake is in the Medical Center in Bowling Green, hope he is soon able to be back home and feeling better.

Also heard at church the Keenes will be relocating and we will loose them from our church fellowship. Jennifer sang the special this morning, which was absolutely beautiful. We appreciate her ability. She is very talented.

So with this, I say, hope you have a good week and God bless. See ya!
