Dear Editor:

A special “Thank You” to those who supported the recent “Caveman Chorus” concert on March 12th at the Old Logan County Courthouse. It was exciting to have a “Sold Out” crowd to come hear the entertaining and superb accapella men’s group from Bowling Green, Kentucky.

In addition to the Chorus, we want to thank: the cast of the Logan County Middle School Spring Musical “The Little Mermaid” under the direction of Melanie Manley; Brittany Carter and Kelly Warden, soloists from Logan County High; and Phillip Crawford from Russellville High School for sharing additional special music. We also appreciate Joe Ross for leading the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag as we concluded the evening with a special arrangement of “America the Beautiful” featuring all of the performers for the evening.

In addition to our performers, we wish to thank the many people who support the arts in Logan County including: The members of the Russellville Arts Council; The Citizens of Russellville; The Russellville City Council; Wayne Stratton and the Logan County Tourism Commission; Logan County Judge Executive, Logan Chick; WRUS Radio; The News Democrat Leader Newspaper; and our patrons who encourage and promote the Arts in our Community.

Please check out our new website russellvillearts.org.org and “like” our Face Book page to keep informed of upcoming Arts Events in Russellville and Logan County!
