Lena Pearl Huffman Hayes, 69, of Bowling Green, died Feb. 18, 2013, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.

She was born in Bowling Green on Dec. 18, 1943, a daughter of the late John Henry Huffman and the late Annie Mae Sutherland Huffman.

Mrs. Hayes was a sales associate in retail. She was a member of the Cowles Chapel Baptist.

Funeral services will beheld Friday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at the 11th Street Baptist Church with Reverend Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Logan School House Cemetery in South Union. Visitation began Thursday, Feb. 21 from 4-8 p.m. Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by her son, Jordon Hayes of Bowling Green; her daughters, Janet Offutt and Tonita (Melvin) Curry, both of Bowling Green and Shanda Tandy of Houston, Texas; her brothers, William “Spud” (Karen0 Huffman, Curtis (Sharon) Huffman and John Thomas Huffman; her sisters, Hazel Huffman, Frances Huffman and Judy Jewel, all of Bowling Green; 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
