Hattie Mae Hunt, 83, of Dunmor, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Maple Manor Health Care Center in Greenville.

She was born in Dunmor on May 1, 1929, a daughter of the late Leonard Jenkins and the late Edith McKie Jenkins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hunt; her son, Barry Hunt, and her step-granddaughter, Brandy West.

Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker and a member of Dunmor Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. at Price Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Carroll, Reverend Glendel Harper and Reverend Jeremy Whitney officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Moriah Church Of Christ Cemetery. Visitation began at the funeral home Friday, Jan. 25 after 6 p.m.

She is survived by her son, Lowell Hunt (Barbara) of Dunmor.
