Bobby Lee Thacker, 76, of Russellville, died Dec. 9, 2012, at Hearthstone Place in Elkton.
He was born in Lewisburg June 22, 1936, a son of the late Amos Thacker and the late Mayme Sweatt Thacker.
Mr. Thacker was a stocker at Wal-Mart, was a member of Freedom Chapel Methodist Church and was a United States Army veteran.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 14 at 12 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Russellville with Reverend Marius Beard officiating. Burial will follow in the Ky. Veterans West. Visitation will begin at the church Friday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. until time of service.
He is survived by his sons, Davie (Angela) Thacker Kenner of Russellville; his daughter, Patricia Leavell of Russellville; four grandsons, and three great-grandchildren.
