Elizabeth Poore, 92, of Elkton, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville.
Mrs. Poore was born in Todd County March 18, 1920, a daughter of the late Charles and Inez Murrey Moore.
Mrs. Poore was retired from Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a Charter Member of Britmart Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Gibson, Reverend Jim Kern and Reverend Jeremy Hayes officiating. Burial followed in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation began Saturday, Nov. 3 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived be her husband of 52 years, Sammie C. Poore of Elkton; her son, Terry Moore Latham of Elkton; her daughter, Velma Rager of Clifty; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
