Wilma Blake, 76, of Elkton, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at the Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green.

She was born in Todd County May 8, 1936, in Todd County, a daughter of the late Jody and Opal Elkins Wells. In addition to her parents, Ms. Wells was preceded in death by her son, Terry L. Wells Sr. and her grandson, James Paul Marshall.

Ms. Blake was retired from the Todd County Board of Education, was a devoted mother and a member of the Joines Chapel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Tony Blake officiating. Burial will follow at the Emberry Church Cemetery. Visitation began Monday, Nov. 5 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her sons, Gary and Tommy Blake of Sharon Grove and Ernie Blake of Russellville; her sisters, Beatrice Lear of Elkton and Shirley Vincent of Valpraso, Ind.; eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
