Jerry Wayne Gregory, 70, of Franklin, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
He was born in Logan County, a son of the late Coston Anderson Gregory and late Vera Irene Grayson Gregory.
Mr. Gregory was a retired truck driver and member of the First Baptist Church. He retired from the United States Army Reserves and served in the KY National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion Post 62, a member of the Simpson County Fish & Game Club and a member of the N. R. A. (National Rifle Association).
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard. Visitation began Friday, Oct. 26 at 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 25 at 6 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gregory of Franklin; his son Dennis Gregory (Courtney) of Radcliff, and his brother, Ferrell Gregory of Auburn.
